The purpose of Walkasong.org is to raise funds destined for the building of primary schools and related projects in the village of Nausori, Fiji.

Walkasong.org is overseen by Patrick McLaughlin, who has dedicated much of his personal time to help raise funds for the children.

Patrick first became aware of the issues confronting the children of Nausori through his sister, Patricia McLaughlin, a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, stationed in Fiji.

Sister Patricia McLaughlin is now in charge of operations in Nausori. The young children in the villages, where she hopes to establish pre-schools, have no access to education since the Fijian Government does not have the resources to provide such an amenity.
